Ray Nitti Performance Horses’ training program has been carefully and meticulously developed over the years to produce quality horses that will carry their rider to success.
The focus of the training program is aimed far deeper than merely obtaining a mount that will perform all maneuvers correctly. The goal is to form a partnership between horse and rider that allows us to understand their way of thinking so that they will willingly want to work with the rider for a long and successful show career. Finding the right balance between both the physical and mental components of training is key to success in the show pen.
our philosophy
Each and every horse and rider are different and require very different approaches and techniques to help them to understand the complex art of reining. There is not one training mold that can fit every horse.
At Ray Nitti Performance Horses, we break it down to the very smallest aspects and teach each and every one so that once the horse has a solid understanding, the training can be custom built around every horse.
The same is true for the rider. Too often the focus is placed on obtaining the maneuver without the right understanding of how everything works together. Here at Ray Nitti Performance horses we work with the rider as much as we do the horse so that we can build the best partnership possible.
